How to play Destroy Any Website

Start with the built-in demo to learn the controls, then turn a public webpage into your next level.

Start your first game

1. Open the game on a desktop or laptop with a keyboard and mouse.
2. Choose Demo page, or enter a public website address and click Destroy.
3. Wait for the page to become a level. Click inside the game, move your character and aim with your mouse.
4. Fire at text, images and platforms. Try different weapons to make paths through the page.
5. Press Esc to pause, keep playing or choose another website.

Play with friends

Choose the multiplayer option on the title screen and create a room. Share the room link with your friends; everyone should open it on a desktop browser. The host selects a website to start the match. The first player to reach 10 kills wins. The host can start a rematch or load a new website.

Keep the game tab open while playing. Room data is temporary and empty rooms expire after about one hour.

Does it damage the real website?

No. Destruction only happens inside this game. The original website and its data are unchanged.

Which websites work?

Public webpages work best. Sign-in pages, private networks, paywalls and sites that block automated requests may not load. If a page fails, try a different address or choose Demo page.

Can I play on my phone?

The game needs a desktop or laptop, a keyboard and a mouse, with a browser window at least 1,024 pixels wide. The guides remain readable on smaller screens.

Do I need an account?

No account or download is required to play. Multiplayer uses a shared room link.
